Horn's Dobermans

About Us

Horn’s Dobermans are located out in the country in Stuart, Iowa.  Stuart is just 35 miles straight west of Des Moines off Interstate 80.
We are easy to find and encourage you to call us and stop by to see our dogs….

We live on an acreage and the dogs have tons of room to run.  We are not a huge kennel and we do not overbreed our dogs.  We have two breeding females and our European/American bred male.  We have healthy, awesome, International Champion bloodlines.  They are our family pets and raising a few pups each year is a family project for us.  We are “sold” on this breed and want to see others enjoy them as well.  If you’ve never had or been around a Dobie, you are in for a real treat.  People that don’t know this breed are always surprised at their friendly disposition.  Our dogs can be trusted around anybody, from children to the UPS man. :-)  Dobies are extremely loyal and love to be with their owners and families.  They get along well with other dogs and animals, especially if they are raised around them from pups.

The Doberman Pinscher is an excellent watch dog and if push comes to shove, they WILL protect their owners.

We ship a lot of puppies through the airlines and have been extremely pleased with how they handle the puppies.
Shipping anywhere in the United States is a flat fee of $350.00.  That fee includes everything to get puppy to an airport near you.

Since this is a family hobby for us and we do not make our living selling puppies, we try to keep the cost of our pups low.     When you get your puppy, they will have had their tails docked, dew claws removed, been de-wormed and have their first set of puppy shots.  The price of a pup is $1,000 (limited AKC registration) or $1,800 (full breeding rights).

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.  We love to talk about Dobermans.
